A mechanical hummingbird with a gravity-defying halo and an internal CRT-blue glow. A scene character only — appears in panels when an antigravity or hovering metaphor lands, but never narrates a series.

Jules

Young Seagullhe/him

The real Google AI coding agent, fictionalized as a young seagull learning to build, debug, and ship. A scene character: readers watch Jules work through real problems, always narrated by Static or zClaude — never in his own voice.

Scene characters appear in the world but never narrate. Promoting one to a publishing voice is a deliberate canon decision, not a default.
